Sugar Kelp

The most widely cultivated seaweed species in BC. Grows as long, wavy-edged blades from a holdfast, reaching several metres in length. Mild, slightly sweet flavour. Tolerates a wide range of conditions, making it well-suited to BC aquaculture.
