  • Transforming Women's Seaweed Enterprises into Nature-Based Solutions

    A CAD 1.64 million active research project supporting women-led seaweed aquaculture enterprises in Fiji, Samoa, and Kiribati. The project maps existing seaweed supply chains, applies life cycle analysis to production and processing, delivers business training and peer-to-peer learning, and works with private sector partners to develop and test new product prototypes. Funded by IDRC and Global Affairs Canada as part of the AQUADAPT initiative on nature-based climate solutions in Asia-Pacific aquaculture food systems.
